MWF FameLab Remixed Linden Servinis

If you missed the recent state heats for British Council's inaugural FameLab competition, never fret... We've brought it all back, as part of the Melbourne Writers Festival!

FameLab is an exciting international competition between young scientists and science communicators across 26 countries. This year saw more than 40 Australians compete to represent their country in the international final at the Cheltenham Science Festival.

The aim of FameLab's game is for researchers to present their work in an engaging 3-minute talk, aimed at a general public audience. The FameLab rules say no Powerpoint, no jargon and no labcoats, but there's nothing in the rule book banning props, costumes and fun!

Hosted by Triple R's Krystal Evans, host of Einstein a Go-Go (11am Sundays on 3RRR 102.7FM).

Supported by the British Council, The Times Cheltenham Science Festival and Fresh Science.

This is a free event and bookings are not required.
