Academic Vice President, Monash-Warwick Alliance
Andrew J. Stewart Coats is the inaugural Joint Academic Vice-President of Monash University, Australia and the University of Warwick, UK and Director of the Monash-Warwick Alliance, a unique global alliance of two world-leading Universities. Andrew was born in Melbourne, and studied at Oxford and Cambridge. He has worked at Imperial College, as Dean and DVC at Sydney and as CEO of Norwich Research Park. He has over 500 peer-reviewed publications and more than 52,000 career citations. Andrew has a MBA from London Business School, and has multiple patents and co-founded PsiOxus therapeutics (formerly Myotec), an Oxford-based biotech.
